Laboratory Spray Drying with Maximized Benefits

Spray Dryer Working Principle

- Feeds.
- Feed valve.
- Peristaltic pump.
- Nozzle; the sample is injected into the drying chamber.
- Drying chamber; the nozzle atomizes the solution into small droplets. As the droplets of solution fall through the chamber, moisture evaporates from the droplets and they become particles. The drying gas carries the particles out of the chamber.
- The cyclone separates particles from the drying gas.
- Outlet filter; captures powders that escape from cyclone.
- Aspirator.
- Heat exchanger warms up spraying gas.
- The powder is collected.
